Its been so warm for past few days in Delhi  and I really needed some freshness that can bring the spring & summer mood inside the house .  I think , summer  is the time when you want to lighten and brighten up the colors and fabrics in your house. I have passion for cushions . While looking for some nice cushions on the net , I found  Yastik,   Istanbul based retailer  owned by Rifat Ozbek and Erdal Karaman . Yastik means cushion in Turkish .  In their words “ Cushion is a luxury; a reminder of a journey, a memory of a dream” and this fascination  reflects in their lavender scented cushion collections.  

They gained their inspiration through their travelling to other parts of world and exploring its culture . Yastik offers large variety of most stylish cushions from Ikat , Suzani to Mughal prints that can lift your home decor into a new level of luxury and can make even dullest looking furniture so vibrant and sophisticated.   All the designs are produced as limited edition and they  bring out new collection every season . Though, most of  Yastik  cushions are absolutely darling  but I did try to  pick up few favourites  for this post .

Matchless Decor!!

I am so inspired and in love with Surupa Sen’s ( Artistic director at Nrityagram ) gorgeous home featured in Prismma magazine reflecting her  exotic cultural heritage and ethnic accents  . The  vibe  and  hues of  the entire house is so earthy that you will be able to smell the nature. I adore the stone construction and use of nature and   antique architectural elements  with no fashionable home accessories .
