I have blogged about Sophia Edstrand in an earlier post also . She is a very talented and imaginative designer . I have always admired  her fondness for Zardozi embroidery work. She combines this traditional Indian  embroidery technique with the fashion forward modern styling in such a way that no other designer can do . She is very imaginative and seems really enjoying exploring this embroidery  to create interesting stuff . Her jewelry line has always been matchless, something you have never seen before .

she has launched  “Smiling in the middle of a kiss” Spring summer line 2011/2012,  a week ago at Browns London and At RP 217 in Paris . With this collection , she debuts her first Children's and Bridal line.

“Smiling in the middle of a kiss” is a treat for jewelry and accessories lovers. Though the entire collection is stunning but  , I will start with my favourite ones first ………………………

Decor India-Inspirit Adore– Serene and Calm…………………..

This  Decor India – Inspirit adore post  is inspired by the beautiful quote of an Irish writer  /poet Oscar wilde-

“ Nothing is so aggravating than calmness”.

I feel , we all need a space of calmness and serenity. A space, that welcomes your presence, a place where undeniable beauty and purity in nature still survives  and allows you to hear your little inner voice. I strongly feel the decor showcased here will  let you enjoy the silent space and take you through calm mystic odyssey.

Needless to say , I put in my best to present the decor  that is calm, yet having an Indian element in it.

When we talk about serene and calm rooms , the very first name comes to mind is Jordi Canosa , a brilliant  photographer from Barcelona, who has stunningly captured the stillness and softness of these mesmerizing rooms . I  am a big admirer of Jordi’s photography , His photographs are gorgeous and the way he has captured the essence, , no one else could have.

When you take charge of your life

Hi Friends, I do regret for not being so consistent in posting despite my sincere efforts. My busy work schedule had always kept  me away from writing so often  but not away from my  passion. Of late, there were lot of things happening at my professional front. and sometimes  you were  in a situation when thoughts like “just to be with it ” or “not to be”  kind of bothered you .

I am  always motivated by quote of  famous American author Mark twain “ Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” 

Honestly,  it took me great deal of time to sail away from the safe harbour but I am glad that it did happen . I have left the job that I sincerely worked for 15 years  (in a garment trade ).   Of course,  the time has come to pursue my dreams and go on with life as it flows  and most of it enjoy each day to its fullest .

My  source of inspiration is also  “ Louise L Hay “ she  says,  “LIFE ON THIS "PLANET is an adventure—from the moment we’re born until the time we take our last breath. Life is a madcap caper—scary, exhilarating, boring, peaceful, loving—it’s an escapade. Life is a quest. Life is a thrill. Life is romance. Life is a lark. Life is!

So, here I am , taking courage in my hands and gearing up to move out into life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
